Podcast #3: Bridget Barker

The AFL Woman of the Year, Emerging Leader, for 2015 demonstrates every day what true community engagement looks like. As Sport and Recreation Co-ordinator at The Huddle, North Melbourne's community engagement hub, she oversees programs that draw thousands of potentially disengaged young people into the club each year.  The Huddle was established in 2010 to improve social cohesion in the Inner North and West of Melbourne, specifically targeting youths from migrant and refugee backgrounds. A 2015 SMJFL interleague coach and current coach at Melbourne University Women's Football Club, Bridget is a hands-on football devotee with a great story to share.
