Dennis Armfield, the AFLW wrap up & more footy!

We're thrilled to be the ABC!

This week we speak to Dennis Armfield. Drafted to the Carlton football club in 2007, Dennis Armfield was a latecomer to the AFL. Commencing his playing career in 2008, at the age of 21, he has now played 140 games for Carlton. In 2017 he was appointed to the club's leadership group. Off the field, Dennis is involved in a number of social causes. He is a passionate advocate for victims of family violence, and involved in Carlton's Respect campaign. He is also an ambassador for Odyssey House - a drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility in Melbourne. For his work with Odyssey House, he was awarded the Jim Stynes Community Leadership Award in 2015. Dennis also studies podiatry at LaTrobe University, and in 2017 was a skills coach for Carlton's inaugural AFL women's team.

We also talk about the AFLW and the incredible Grand Final.
